Senior National Representative, Utility Workers Union of America

Reggie Davis has spent his entire working career as a union advocate.  He attended Brooklyn College in New York City where he graduated with honors and earned a bachelors degree in Philosophy.    In 2005 Reggie was elected to be a full-time business agent for the Utility Workers Union of America’s (UWUA), Local 1-2 where he passionately and diligently represented his constituents.  In 2009 he accepted a position on the National Staff of the UWUA.  Led by ambition and a desire to always look for the next progressive step, his passion for economic and social justice drove him to pursue a career in Law.  In 2010 he received his Law degree from Fordham University School of Law.  As an attorney and Senior National Representative, Reggie zealously represents the UWUA in numerous capacities, including arbitrations and collective bargaining sessions.  In the summer of 2012, when Con Edison locked out 8,500 employees for more than five weeks in NYC, Reggie played a major role in resolving the labor dispute and getting those employees back to work.  He is also currently the Chairman of the UWUA’s Young Worker Initiative Committee, which aims to get young UWUA workers more involved with union issues and activities.  In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing the piano, writing and producing music.
