2018 Year in Review

Dear friends and family,

Happy New Year! We hope that our letter finds you and yours well and that the adventure of a shiny new year is both exciting and rewarding. As we vault into 2019 with hope and enthusiasm, we look back at 2018 with gratitude and happiness.

To all of you who have been part of our webinars and virtual panels; who attended our 2018 conference, the “Steakholders” Summit; and who led sessions and have shared ideas and best practices, we thank you. To those of you who work every day to advance diversity and inclusion -- even when you are tired, sick, or when your family pressures are great – we salute you. To our member/donors, whose generosity and great hearts make it possible to do our work, we send our sincerest gratitude. And especially to our visionary and courageous volunteer Board of Directors, we say thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

As you know, NUDC is a non-profit organization representing a dynamic collaboration of national leaders from the utilities and communications industries who work to promote diversity in the areas of governance, employment, procurement, language access/customer service, and philanthropy. Without the support of our donors and the leadership of our Board, we could not undertake these projects.
