Energy Force Ambassadors Program at ComEd
This webinar will be led by Paula Conrad, Vice President of Corporate Relations at Exelon
Did you know that ComEd (Exelon) created the Energy Force Ambassador Program, which is the country's first energy-efficiency education program taught by people with disabilities? The ComEd Energy Force Ambassador Program is a one-of-a-kind program that trains adults with developmental disabilities to serve as ambassadors for ComEd's Energy Efficiency Program, which focuses on helping the public understand the benefits of energy efficiency and conservation at home. Ambassadors teach people simple energy-saving tips by creating fun, interactive demonstrations.
The program is currently celebrating its tenth anniversary, and NUDC is pleased to have Paula Conrad, Vice President of Corporate Relations, discuss how the program began, how it works, including how ambassadors are trained, and lessons learned of this successful program. This is an excellent opportunity for human resource professionals, utility executives and regulators!
