The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and the Justice40 Initiative is a once in our lifetime opportunity to make a huge change for individuals, families, communities and businesses. A key objective of Justice40 involves contracting with minority owned business enterprises. To highlight this, we will provide an overview of how the IIJA funding is structured, including the components of Justice40 and Community Benefits Plan. Most importantly, we will discuss examples of functional areas of spend, and where opportunities exist for minority owned business.
