Christopher Duncan, Director

Director of Federal Affairs, Exelon

Christopher Duncan is the Director of Federal Affairs for Exelon. The Exelon Federal Affairs team has responsibility for Exelon’s six local electric and natural gas companies -- Atlantic City Electric, BGE, ComEd, Delmarva Power, PECO and Pepco. Together, they form the nation’s largest utility company by customer count, serving approximately 10.5 million electric and gas customers in New Jersey, Maryland, Illinois, Delaware, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. Chris’ specific areas of responsibility include workforce development, affordability, cyber security, and AI. He currently serves as a volunteer with the Maryland Foodbank, Uncuffed Ministries a prison-based ministry for juveniles charged with adult crimes and Back on My Feet, an organization that seeks to combat homelessness through the power of running. Prior to joining Exelon in 2015, Chris owned a State Farm agency in Baltimore where he received numerous awards for production and community service. In addition, he held leadership positions at both Caterpillar Inc. and Kohler Power Systems. In 1997 Chris was elected as the youngest City Council member in the history of Peoria, IL. Chris earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. Currently, Chris resides in Baltimore, MD with his two children Ryan Alana and Christopher III.
