BIOGRAPHY

Ernie Gutierrez is the Chief Operating Officer of Burns Environmental Services, a woman and minority-owned business providing environmental and construction services. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Allied Industries Inc. one of the largest environmental firms in California and at one point, 16th largest Hispanic-owned business in California.

Ernie has worked in the environmental/construction industry for 28 years and is a well-respected member of the environmental profession who was one of the first State of California Department of Health Services approved instructors of Accredited Lead-Based Paint courses. He has been elected to several national boards including the Historically Underutilized Business (HUBZone) National Council.

Ernie has dedicated his professional career to helping emerging communities and small business achieve economic growth and job creation. He brings expertise as a small business advocate and as an executive of a woman and minority-owned contractor that provides environmental and construction services.
