Keisha Parker, Vice Chair

Director, Diverse Business Empowerment, Exelon Corporation

Keisha Parker is currently the Director, Supplier Diversity (Diverse Business Empowerment) at Exelon Corporation. In this role she provides strategic direction and oversight for approximately $2 billion in spend with diverse certified suppliers. She also leads the strategy and stakeholder alignment for supplier diversity programs across the Exelon enterprise—including six utilities in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania through its Atlantic City Electric, BGE, ComEd, Delmarva Power, PECO and Pepco subsidiaries. Prior to this role, she was Chief of Staff to the Senior EVP and Chief Strategy Officer at Exelon, where she coordinated and drove initiatives amongst practice areas under his purview which include Investments, Communications, Legal, Government Regulatory Affairs & Public Policy, Corporate Development and Corporate Strategy. She transitioned to this after almost 10-years at Exelon subsidiary, ComEd.

The Chicago native joined ComEd in 2006, where she worked in various roles of increasing responsibility in Communications and Governmental Affairs. As a lobbyist, she managed legislative projects and built strategic relationships with key government and community stakeholders.

Keisha holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Spelman College and also has a Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University. She serves as the Board Chair of Project SYNCERE—a Chicago based non-profit that provides STEM programming to youth in under-served communities.
